Fox Sports NBL Intro

October 2003 ––

While working as a Design Director at Engine Design Sydney, Munko designed and directed this Open for Australia's NBL Basketball league. The concept was to cross-cut supplied footage from FoxSports with shot and stylized 'silhouette players' to create a seamless editorial flow of NBL basketball juicebox. Munko even got down and shot the B-Roll clips himself, handHeld styled camcorder. Smoke machines, slow-shutter and gonzo cuts; tickles the G inside.

The awarded design / storyboard: Those wispy in the shadow triple lines + extra branding spherical backgrounds never made it into the spot, and that's a good thing.
